RGL7 Shock Absorber
RGL7 is a separate set of shock absorbers. It is commonly used on our lanyards, but can also be used on its own without adding another lanyard.
When used as a shock absorber on its own, the maximum user weight can be increased to 140 kg as the free fall distance is reduced. Ensure compatibility of the user's performance and maximum weight with the additional equipment used.
When used with a rope grab without extending its length, it ensures the user's distance from the rope when working, freeing up working space and also providing protection for the rope from sharp tools.
The shock absorber is a durable sleeve that protects the energy absorbing strap from abrasion or dirt. The case has a zippered opening that is accessible for any routine inspection.
A range of steel or aluminium connectors are available.
