Tree climbing hook NOTCH RC Grapple
Notch in collaboration with Reg Coates developed the RC Grapple - a hook that allows extreme mobility in the treetops. Once attached to the end of the main climbing rope, you can use the Grapple to get to a new working position while still tied in.
The low-profile folding design stores easily on the harness and doesn't get in the way until you need it. The sleek design is aerodynamic in use, fits in tight bundles and easily snaps onto the limb. The grapple is also easy to pull out when it is released and pulled back.
