Type A rope has a required minimum strength of 22 kN and is designed for activities at heights and above free depth, for rescue, caving and similar activities.
Inside the rope there is an inspection tape running the entire length of the rope, indicating the manufacturer's designation, the type of rope and the standard number, the year of manufacture in numerals and the material from which the rope is made.
