Attachment points for tool ropes can be difficult to find, especially for smaller hand tools such as screwdrivers. When working at heights, it's important to strap down tools as part of your overall fall protection plan, and a lack of these connection points can make this difficult.
Direct installation
This tool attachment is designed in two pieces and has a tailpiece and rubber cuff. To install, insert the screwdriver into the rubber sleeve and insert the pins of the end cap into the reinforced holes of the rubber sleeve. The sleeve has textured rubber and is ergonomically designed to cover the entire handle of the tool - providing greater comfort, torque and grip. The end cap features a swivel connection point for tool attachment to help prevent tangling and binding when used with a tool lanyard.
Built-in trim lines on the sleeve allow this tool attachment to be customized to fit different driver lengths. The flexible hole on the underside of the rubber sleeve expands to allow larger screwdrivers to be installed. Unlike the competition, this tool fixing handle can be installed, removed and reinstalled. The swivel attachment portion of the tool does not interfere with the housing or prevent the user from pushing down on the end of the tool to gain leverage in use.
