The Squids 3156 tool reel lanyard is more than just a small lanyard and helmet. The coiled rope is manufactured and tested to withstand harsh conditions and is rated to carry up to 0.9kg, made from a low profile design and durable plastic. With a lightweight aluminium carabiner on one end and a loop on the other, it easily attaches to anchor tools and attachments, even with gloves on. The twisted strap design reduces the length of the rope to avoid the risk of snagging and tangling. The reel stretches from a compact 30 cm to 122 cm.
Direct installation
No more installation tools or complicated gluing or shrinking! The Slips design requires a simple installation that lives up to its name. Simply "slide" the tool attachment onto the tool and attach the Squids 3156 rope to the tool spool to complete your tying system. Unlike competitors that offer a fitted cap that can obscure information (such as on the end of a screwdriver), these solutions leave the end open. The one-piece design is easier to install compared to competitors that require two to three pieces per tool.
Simply push the end of the hand tool through the orange inner membrane of the Tool Slip and slide the attachment into place. The star points on the inside of the attachment keep their place and the swivel outer ring provides a connection point for the tool ropes. To remove the slides, simply push on the tongue to loosen it and then slide it out of the tool shaft. No glue residue or mess left behind!
