A really heavy tool especially for professionals. Hayate consists of a heavier construction than Hayauchi, making this telescopic pole saw even more robust. And yes, this may make Hayate weigh a bit more, but he's still very easy to handle. Mirai-Me Silky's uniquely toothed blade consists of a special metal alloy that makes the blade durable and incredibly strong.
With Hayate, you can get into places that are hard to reach with a ladder. In the extended length you can even prune up to 9 metres! You stand firmly on the ground and with a few strokes you cut through even the thickest branches. Hayate's speed can be compared to that of a chainsaw. The blade has so much power that cutting hardly feels like an exercise. Let the weight of the saw work!
Because the aluminium bar is oval-shaped, you have very precise control over the direction of the blade, which you will need when pruning at high heights. This shape also provides greater strength and rigidity along the entire length of the bar saw and reduces bending to a minimum.
The two sickles on the blade work together for optimum pruning results. The upper sickle helps you keep the blade in the cut. You can also use the top sickle to cut twigs from the trunk or to pull small (dead) branches off the tree. The lower sickle can be used to undercut the bark so that the trunk is not torn off when the branch falls. The lower blade is removable, which allows pruning of heavily branched wood.
The two locking mechanisms (buttons and levers) together create the safest and most stable locking of the preferred bar length. The lowest part of the stick is covered with rubber for a comfortable and secure grip even in wet conditions. A bumper at the bottom protects the stick from bumps or impacts.
Always keep your own safety in mind: make sure you stand at a safe distance from falling branches and wear a hard hat and eye protection.
The name Hayate is the traditional Japanese name for "hard wind". And that's exactly how this saw moves through the trees!
Optional HookFox is available for mounting under the blade. With this hook you can easily pull off cut branches that get stuck in the tree. It is also suitable for pulling a climbing rope high up a tree.
