SIMPLE is a rappelling brake designed for caving and is easy to use. It is used with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm. Smaller size and weight simplify the procedure in narrow passages. The service life of the equipment can be optimised by turning the pulleys or replacing them.

Easy to use:

• very easy to use, the speed of the rappelling is controlled by changing the hand pressure on the free end of the rope
• installation diagram engraved on the brake body
• safety latch on the swivel sidewall allows easy rope setting while the device remains attached to the harness, making it easy to pass progressive anchor points
• the oval connection hole allows the FREINO Z carabiner to be rotated to prevent loss of brake during the transition from the harness connection eye to the semi-circular carabiner
• compatible with low tensile ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm

Lightweight and compact:

• only 240 g
• consists of two aluminium pulleys to reduce weight
• smooth design reduces the risk of entrapment in narrow passages

Brake life can be optimised by rotating or replacing the pulleys (D004CA00).
