RIG is a compact self-locking rappelling device for rope access, designed for experienced users. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the salting. The AUTO-LOCK system allows workers to easily position themselves at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or tie a locking knot. After locking, the rope can be lifted up without manipulating the handle. The safety latch allows the rope to be installed even when the device is attached to the harness.

Easy to use:

• Safety latch on the movable sidewall allows easy installation of the rope while the device remains attached to the harness
• Easy rope installation thanks to grooves and markings
• Ergonomic handle allows the rope to be released and allows comfortable control of the rappelling
• Two possible modes of rappelling: the outgoing end of the rope leads sideways over the sidewall or forwards over the V-shaped friction segment
• The AUTO-LOCK system allows the worker to easily position themselves at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or tie a locking knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope automatically locks into the device
• Automatic handle return system reduces the risk of accidental capture
• The handle automatically returns to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental entanglement when transporting the device on the harness

Versatility:

• After locking, the rope can be lifted up without manipulating the handle, e.g. to create a pulley system for pulling or short rope climbs
• The cam can be manipulated like a belay brake, it is possible to feed and recharge the rope for belaying during climbing ascents with climbing equipment
• Stainless steel friction segment increases the resistance of the rope friction zone
• Ability to rappel with heavy loads up to 200 kg
• Rope compatibility: diameter 10 to 11.5 mm
