The LEZARD connector is designed for helicopter evacuation from heights. Allows for secure departure/landing phases thanks to an adjustable mooring loop with a safety lock that allows immediate disconnection of the helicopter in the event of a wind gust or other hazard. Handling the loops is easy thanks to the instant identification of the colour-coded attachments and the very quick and precise adjustment of the anchor loop length using the ADJUST rope adjuster.
Designed for helicopter evacuation from heights:
- There is a large connection hole on the metal body for quick connection of the helicopter winch
- Adjustable anchor loop allows you to adjust the length for connection to the anchor point
- Two connecting loops allow the connection of the rescuer and the casualty
- The carabiner attached to the metal body is designed to connect the stretcher
- The mooring loop has a safety mechanism for the departure / ejection phase - if the helicopter has to leave the stationary position quickly (wind gust, small distance from the rock...) the safety lock disconnects the mooring loop from the LEZARD device

- Immediate identification of connection elements thanks to their colour coding
- Very fast and precise adjustment of the adjustable loop length thanks to the ergonomic shape of the ADJUST rope adjuster
- Easier fastening thanks to correct position of the carabiners

NOTE: Due to the very specific nature of the LEZARD connector, it is mandatory for users to receive training on its use provided by Petzl or an authorized training partner
(1) The LEZARD coupling is not equipped with a fall damper. It should therefore only be used if the fall factor is less than 1 (used below the anchor point).
