The I'D EVAC self-locking rappelling device is primarily designed for lowering from a mooring point. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the salting. The integrated anti-panic function and the rope misplacement safety reduce the risk of accidents due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to be locked without the need to manipulate the handle or tie a locking knot. Once locked, the rope can be lifted up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety latch allows the rope to be installed even when the device is attached at the anchor point. The I'D EVAC is compatible with rope diameters from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows handling loads up to 250 kg.

• The AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to be locked without manipulating the handle or tying a locking knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device
• Automatic handle return system reduces the risk of accidental capture
• The handle automatically returns to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental entanglement when transporting the device on the harness

Versatility:

• After locking, the rope can be lifted up without manipulating the handle, e.g. to create a pulley system for pulling or short rope climbs
• The movable sidewall can be secured with a screw, allowing the I'D S to be integrated into evacuation kits
• Integrated open additional brake increases friction depending on the weight of the load or rope diameter
• Stainless steel friction segment increases the resistance of the rope friction zone
• Abseil with heavy loads up to 250 kg
