The FREINO Z carabiner has a friction spur to add or adjust friction during salting. Easy to use and compatible with I'D S, I'D L, I'D EVAC and RIG self-locking slack brakes. If it is rotated it cannot be lost when detaching from the material loop and attaching to the harness or anchor point. FREINO Z has an automatic TRIACT-LOCK or TWIST-LOCK lock.

Salting control:

• The spur helps increase friction for better control of rappelling with heavy loads (e.g. two-person rescue situations)
• Easy to use and operate, the rope can be quickly routed through the friction spur and removed with one hand

Easy handling:

• The rope can be easily fed into the spur without the carabiner opening the keylock to prevent inadvertent snagging of the carabiner
• TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking lock with three-stage opening for use on harnesses or anchor points
• TWIST-LOCK automatic lock with two-stage opening
• If the carabiner is reversed, the self-locking rappelling brakes I'D S, I'D L and I'D EVAC (1) or RIG (2) are protected against loss when switching from the material loop to the harness connection point or to the anchor point
