The ASAP LOCK moving fall arrest device is designed to facilitate handling during rope ascents. In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without any need for manipulation and follows the user in all his movements. In the event of an impact load or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks onto the rope and stops the user. An integrated locking feature allows the device to be locked to the rope to reduce the potential fall distance. Thanks to the connecting arm, the system is fall-proof when passing between the anchor points. The ASAP LOCK is used with the ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS fall arrester for working at a greater distance from the rope.

Permanent fall protection:

• Catches falls, slips and uncontrolled sliding
• Works on vertical or inclined rope
• It locks onto the rope, even if the worker tries to grab the rope as he falls
• An integrated locking feature allows the device to be locked anywhere on the rope to reduce the potential fall distance. In case of strong winds, this function also prevents the rope from being pulled out

Easy and effective to use:

• Moves up or down the rope without any need for manipulation
• Easy installation and removal at any point on the rope
• The connecting arm makes the system resistant to falling when passing between anchor points
• Used with a fall damper for working at a greater distance from the rope: ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS
• ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used for loads up to 250 kg in two-person rescue situations
