The innovative CAMP Ares Mips work helmet is a clear step forward for safety at the highest possible level in the event of a possible head injury when working at heights. The Ares Mips helmet was developed in cooperation between C.A.M.P and the Swedish safety company MIPS.

The Mips safety system is based on low-friction layer technology, which is placed between the head and the helmet. In certain angled impacts, the Mips Safety System allows multi-directional movement of 10-15 mm, reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the head. Advanced computer simulations of the brain conducted at Mips headquarters have shown that the Mips safety system reduces the level of stress on the brain in impacts at the various impact angles that have been tested. Tension in the brain is one of the main factors in the symptoms of concussion and brain injury.

The Mips Safety system is widely used in motorsports and downhill racing.

In addition to its many safety features, the CAMP Ares Mips helmet is also very comfortable and is equipped with all the features for maximum functionality. The robust shell is made of a mixture of ABS and polycarbonate. The vertical position of the internal clamping system can be adjusted both at the front and at the rear. The Ares helmet uses a pull-down wheel for quick and easy adjustment that is easily operated with one hand. For use of the helmet for ground operations, the chin strap can be easily removed. The buckle on the chin strap is designed with a safety release for tear-offs from 15 to 25 kg. The Ares Mips helmet is equipped with attachment points for the installation of hearing protection, shield and headlamp. No metal is used in the construction to avoid corrosion or conductivity problems. The helmet is available in several colours and one universal size.
