Edelrid fUSE fall arrester
FUSE redefines standards for fall arresters. It is the only locking device on the market for payloads up to 140 kg that meets all applicable standards in Europe and North America. From the first metre he moves along the rope with unprecedented ease. This is achieved by a new, sophisticated attachment on the lever arm.
The separation of the locking mechanism and its speed-dependent activator - a patent application has been filed - increases the reliability and safety of the device. The device reduces rope wear, prevents rope breakage and ensures that the blocking can be released without completely unloading. This is achieved by dropping the gears of the clamping cam. If necessary, the clamping can be activated by means of the practical lock function.
The FUSE can be attached to and removed from the rope without the need to detach it from the carabiner. In conjunction with the lightweight and compact DEFUSER energy dampers (S, L or RESCUE), the maximum arresting shock is 30% below the standard. Different shock absorber lengths and performance parameters guarantee the best handling - also for rescue operations and horizontal applications.
Only equipment on the market that meets EN 353-2, EN 12841-A, RfU 11.075 and ANSI Z359.15 for payloads up to 140 kg - approved for horizontal applications
