Edelrid MEGAWATT Descenders

MEGAWATT is a universal rappelling device for industrial climbers and rescue operations with a load capacity of up to 200 kg. The intelligent gear mechanics of the descending lever allow a large operating range and precise speed adjustment with minimal force.

The short lever always automatically returns to the parking position and makes the device extremely compact. This prevents entanglement. Ergonomic lever design with rubberized handle inserts allows intuitive active and passive control with left or right hand.

The four-way lock allows the rope to be inserted without having to separate the device from the carabiner. Steel inserts in particularly stressed areas increase the life of the equipment.

The risk of uncontrolled travel on the rope is reduced by the anti-panic function. It can also be triggered deliberately to reverse the sense of lever action. This allows optimal handling in any application and position. All this makes MEGAWATT the most versatile rappelling device on the market, weighing just 495 g.
