A modern multi-purpose rappelling brake that meets the most stringent requirements of rope access techniques and the demands of professional rescue services. The patented internal mechanism combined with robust forged construction and advanced ergonomics ensures exceptional control even under heavy loads (up to 210 kg for 2 persons).
In addition to its rappelling brake function, Giant is also certified as a moving fall arrestor (for rope traverses), ascender and belay device for climbing, making it the most advanced aid of its kind on the market.
A high level of safety is ensured by the "anti-panic" function, which automatically locks the brake in the event of too much pressure on the trigger lever, thus immediately stopping triggering or rappelling.
Another feature you will appreciate is the manual locking of the brake on the rope (lever in the FULL LOCK position) without the need for further action. In situations where you need to ensure a quick passage of the rope through the brake (with little or no load), you can hold the cam in the open position using an external button. Of course, you can attach the brake to the rope without unhooking the brake from the carabiner, thus avoiding accidental dropping. The large connection hole allows the insertion of a second carabiner, which then completely prevents the brake from opening.
The logical rope course together with clear external and internal representation make it easy to set up the rope.

• EN 12841 for use in rope access with 10-11.5mm diameter static rope:
• Type C: lowering brake for working rope with a maximum load of up to 210 kg
• Type B: ascender for working rope with maximum load up to 210 kg
• Type A: fall arrestor for safety rope with maximum load up to 120 kg
• EN 341/2A: rescue and evacuation rappelling brake for 10.5 mm static ropes with a maximum load of up to 200 kg
• ANSI/ASSE Z359.4: rescue and evacuation rappel brake for 11 mm static ropes
• EN 15151: for climbing structures using climbing techniques with dynamic ropes with a diameter of 9.9 - 11 mm.
