Product detailed description

Finch plus is a multi-purpose tool for working at heights. Certified for use as a personal adjustable working positioning device EN 358, temporary anchoring device EN 795-B and horizontal anchor rope EN 795-C. The device complies with all the requirements of EN 12841-C for use as a rappelling device, with the exception of clauses 4.1.2 and 4.1.3, which have not been taken into account*.

Main features:

equipped with an adjusting device with a control lever that allows smooth movement of the rope without sudden jerks and immediate locking in position once it is released. Allows easy release of the rope, even under tension;

when used in accordance with EN 358, it can be attached as a working positioning coupling to either the side attachment points (Fig. A), or to the central B eye (Fig. B) full-body harness;

when used according to EN 795-B as a temporary anchoring device, it must be routed around a structure of suitable shape and strength (Fig. C);

if used in accordance with EN 795-C, it can be used to create a temporary horizontal anchor rope for individuals (Fig. D);

when used in accordance with EN 12841-C * it can be used for vertical descent (Fig. E).* EN 12841-C:

Equipped with steel carabiner with double gate and 50 mm opening.

TECHNICAL NOTE.

The device complies with all the requirements of EN 12841:2006-C (Brakes, Rope adjusting devices). Clauses 4.1.2 (Compatibility) and 4.1.3 (Release prevention mechanism) have not been taken into account as there is a conflict between the requirements of EN 358: 2018 (non-opening devices) and the requirements of EN 12841: 2006-C (manually opened devices).
