CMC CLUTCH lowering brake

Function:
The only wearable tool for efficient hauling, controlled lowering, smooth personal descent, easy ascent, belay and double tension rope systems.
It provides up to 38% more pulling and climbing efficiency than cam-style devices: it reduces oversteer.
It moves seamlessly between anchor-based systems and personal use and performs multi-device work.
It combines the key features of load management and personal rappelling equipment: reduced training and reduced costs.
Instantly switch between pulling and lowering or climbing and descending without having to carry a load.
Allows double tensioning of the main and safety line in mirrored or nested configurations (double coupling technique).
Replaces 8 pieces of traditional equipment: pulley, rescue stand, anchor plate, load release strap, prusik cord and 3 carabiners.

the 11mm CLUTCH is compatible with 10.5 - 11mm rope and is certified to NFPA 1983 General Use, ANSI and EN standards. It is the only device for 10.5 - 11 mm rope that carries all these certifications.
the 13mm CLUTCH is compatible with 12.5 - 13mm rope and is certified to NFPA 1983 General Use and ANSI standards.

Components:
The stainless steel ratchet and rotary pulley provide effective and audible interception of the automatic locking process.
The loading/unloading of the rope is secured by an innovative side plate with a double latch, which is independent of the attachment point of the device.
The Anti-Panic brake and force limiting functions ensure operational safety and overload protection.
Machined aluminium chassis coated with stainless steel wear protection ensures light weight and durability.
The integrated handle allows direct connection of mechanical advantage components.
The control handle has a large sweet spot for smooth, progressive launch and descent control.
