In Preman there are blacksmiths who know how to work with metal like few others in the world. For example, they control the injection of steel into a wire lock. And this is how Dyon carbines are born there. What makes it different from the others? Think with us for a moment: a wire lock means light weight and smooth operation (even in freezing temperatures and wet conditions), whereas the slim nose of a classic lock prevents catching on a rope, loop or rivet. But having a wire lock and a slender nose is normally impossible. Only Dyon carbines have both. The blacksmiths in Preman have fitted the wire lock with a steel latch, as you know from classic locks.

They call it KeyWire: smooth operation, low weight, easy slipping of rope, loop or rivet and, above all, high strength even with the lock open (11 kN).
