Dyon Express uses CAMP Dyon's "D" carabiners with the patented KeyWire lock, which combines the advantages of a wire lock and the strength of a full lock with the SphereLock treatment. The I-Beam profile design reduces the weight of the carabiner to a minimum while providing a high strength of 11 kN when the lock is open. The patented SphereLock system minimizes the clearance between the lock and the nose, further increasing safety under load. An important part of the expresso is the Karstop Evo accessory, which prevents the carabiner from rotating as the rope passes through it.
