Highly durable expresso sling made of 6mm steel wire rope. The eyelets for connecting carabiners are treated on the inside with a steel insert to prevent abrasion of the carabiner on the rope. The central part, including the ending, is encapsulated in a transparent plastic protector, which both protects the rope from fraying and environmental influences and facilitates possible inspection of the condition of the steel core. Steel perma-expresses are used on climbing walls, outdoor sports routes or split projects - simply where the expression is not pulled out of the belay point. A huge advantage, besides the several times higher durability compared to classic nylon express slips, is that it is also more difficult to steal, thanks to the screw-on mailer (CAMP Oval Quick Link; 10mm) used here. As a second carabiner for securing the rope, the CAMP Gym Safe is most often used with an anti-spin lock.
