The Turbohand is a manual ascender that facilitates ascent on the rope. It uses cutting-edge technology and an innovative design that makes the ascent safer, faster and more rope-friendly. It uses a patented spinner that not only helps the rope move more smoothly, but also reduces friction and therefore the risk of rope damage. The ergonomic rubberised handle extends to the top of the ascender, making it very efficient to use the other hand to climb up. Ascender CAMP The Turbohand is in a parallel position with the rope during ascent, which guarantees the best and most efficient climb. Three large eyelets, two at the bottom and one at the top of the ascender, are used for optimal organisation of accessories. Ascender Turbohand is available in right and left hand versions and is suitable for ropes from 8mm to 13mm. The robust body is made of 3.5mm thick aluminium alloy. The toothed cam has a special anti-wear finish and is fitted with holes to help prevent the build-up of dirt. The opening system is protected against accidental opening from both sides. The presence of the bell also allows the Turbohand to be used as a locking pulley for loads up to 50kg. WARNING: This configuration does not allow the use of ascender for pulling or securing persons. A steel helper (Turbohand Guide, sold separately) can be added with two screws on the bottom of the ascender for better rope stability during long ascents.
